IMPORTANT DATES: The National Cherry Blossom Festival March 27 - April 7, 2010.  Celebrate 100 years of Scouting at The National Scout Jamboree July 26 - August 4, 2010.  The dedication of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial is tentatively scheduled for early 2011.

WHAT'S NEW: The Pentagon 9/11 Memorial Park was dedicated on September 11, 2008.  December 2, 2008 the Capitol Building Visitor Center opened to the public.   The National Geographic Society will have "Terracotta Warriors: Guardians of the China's First Emperor" November 19, 2009 through March 31, 2010.  With over 100 objects this is the final stop on a special four city US Visit.  2009 also marks the Bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln's Birth.  Washington will celebrates with the re-opening of Ford's Theatre.  Call us about customizing a special Washington, DC Lincoln focused program for your group.

WHAT'S NEW:  Philadelphia's skyline just got a little taller with The Comcast Center.  At 975 feet tall, it is now the tallest building in Philadelphia.  Visit the  "The Comcast Experience" a 2,000 square-foot LED screen projecting images so realistic, you'll think they're jumping out of the wall. The Experience is free and open to the public!  And don’t for get to add a stop to the newly renovated and expanded Ruth and Raymond G. Perelman Building to across from the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s main building and behind an exquisitely preserved Art Deco facade.  This is the first phase of a major plan to dramatically enhance and modernize the museum facilities.

WHAT'S NEW: The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Annex NYC is open in SoHo (76 Mercer Street). Spring 2009 take in a game or tour the new Yankee Stadium, Lets Play Ball! “Billy Elliot” is still the hottest ticket in town.   March 2010 “The Addams Family” starring Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth darkens Broadways doorstep.  New green space abounds in Chelsea with the High Line and in Times Square with Pedestrian Plazas and the TKTS ticket booth’s red amphitheater-style staircase.  Perfect locations for lunch al-fresco!  In preparation for the 2011 dedication of the National 9/11 Memorial a special preview site has opened to learn about the plans for and progress of the Memorial and Museum currently being built at the World Trade Center site.  Hotel rates are finally dropping.   If you thought New York City was too expensive for your group, give us a call we would love to prove you wrong!
